Anam Cara is a Gaelic term that signifies a friend we seek for guidance, clarity, and deeper understanding. I aim to embody this spirit in my teaching, whether in my yoga classes or emergency first aid training. I believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone, much like the principles of first aid training, which I strive to impart in a way that leaves you feeling confident to help others when needed.
I offer Hatha Yoga classes mixed with influences and inspiration from other styles. I love props and like to bring them into my teaching where I can. I believe that Yoga is a spiritual, mindful practice, and as such I like to incorporate the philosophy of Yoga in my teaching. Yoga has such a rich history and is a beautiful way to live life. As a teacher, I believe I would be doing you and Yoga an injustice to teach it solely as a physical workout. As with everything in life, take what serves you and leave the rest for others.
I offer a variety of first aid training courses, including Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work. Additionally, I provide training in Paediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support, along with instruction on Automated External Defibrillation and the management of Anaphylaxis for adults, children, and infants. All accreditation for these essential courses is provided by NUCO training.
